The Older Americans Act (OAA) provides critical funding for Meals on Wheels, congregate dining, caregiver support, transportation, home repairs, and other essential services for older adults in Ocean County.

OAA funding is currently operating under a Continuing Resolution set to expire on January 30. Without congressional action, programs thousands of local seniors rely on could face disruption.

As Congress considers a final spending bill, we urge our community to advocate for continued and increased OAA funding to protect nutrition, independence, and connection for older adults.
