We’re proud to highlight our local leaders who believe in the power of Meals on Wheels Ocean County. This week, we’re honored to feature Ocean County Government Commissioner, Deputy Director Frank Sadeghi who said this about our drivers:
“The drivers that provide the service and feed the seniors in the community are amazing human beings. They make sure that every senior in our community has a warm meal and the nutrition that they need to live a long and healthy life. The secondary benefits of the program are looking after the seniors that have medical conditions or need help caring for their pets. The drivers routinely make sure that these seniors don’t have emergency medical issues and are not in distress.”
